Dayton Flyers rout Richmond Spiders in A-10 quarterfinals

The Dayton Flyers led from start to finish in one of their best performances of the season, routing the Richmond Spiders 69-54 in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 tournament on Friday at the Barclays Center.

Dayton had a 20-plus point lead for much of the second half and rested its starters for most of the last five minutes.

Player of the game: Charles Cooke made only 3 of 12 shots from the field but led the Flyers with 14 points and had eight rebounds.

Key stat: The Flyers got 24 points off the bench. Darrell Davis scored nine.

Next game: Dayton plays No. 5 seed George Washington or No. 4 St. Joseph's in the semifinals at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
