Police responded to reports of a disturbance involving several people arguing outside the apartment, located in the 600 block of Summit Square Drive, around 3 a.m., per initial reports.

Authorities say they tried to break up a fight between two women who were reportedly intoxicated, when Rogan intervened in the situation.

While police attempted to place him under arrest, he resisted and was tasered, prompting the officer assistance call around 3:25 a.m., authorities said.

Several area law enforcement officers responded to the urgent call for help, though it was canceled approximately 15 minutes after being dropped.

A medic unit was requested for a reported facial injury to someone at the scene, according to emergency scanner traffic.

Rogan is currently in custody at Montgomery County Jail. His court date is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
