The shooting was reported around 10:45 a.m.
A man was transported to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment, however, his condition was not immediately known. A 911 caller told police it appeared the man was shot just above his belly button.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
The shooting stemmed from an argument at a nearby gas station, police said.
No details were immediately available on the shooter.
