Elio Abiakel, 42, of Mason, was in a Piper Cherokee Arrow that crashed into a wooded area off of Morrow-Rossburg Road near Ohio 132 around 10:47 p.m.
The plane was going from Oaklahoma to an airport in Clermont County.
Abiakel was the only occupant and was pronounced dead on scene.
