Deputies investigate armed robbery at Harrison Twp. gas station

Deputies responded to reports of an armed robbery at a Marathon gas station in Harrison Twp. Wednesday morning.

The robbery was reported at the gas station, 3905 North Main Street around 7:20 a.m., according to initial reports.

According to the Montgomery Count Sheriff’s Office, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot male, medium build who was wearing all black and a red mask partially covering his face.

Deputies requested a K-9 officer to respond and attempt to track the suspect, but terminated the track in the 200 block of Northwood Avenue.

No injuries have been initially reported.

This incident remains under investigation.
