Deputies stop car in Harrison Twp. wanted in connection to Miamisburg shooting

Deputies stopped a car Miamisburg police were searching for in connection to a shooting in Miamisburg last month.

The black Chevrolet Camaro was stopped around 9:45 a.m. Thursday by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in the area of Philadelphia Drive and Marlay Road in Harrison Twp.

Miamisburg police said the vehicle was wanted in connection to the shooting at the Valley Glen Apartments in the 1000 block of East Linden Avenue on April 21.

Deputies detained some people who were inside the vehicle, however it’s not known whether they are connected to the shooting for which vehicle was wanted.

The vehicle was towed to the Miamisburg police department.
