A 2-year-old English bulldog was reportedly stolen from a yard in Oakwood, while the city held Trick or Treat festivities Wednesday night.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Lookout Drive after a resident called to report the theft, according to a police report.

The dog, named Irving, was reportedly taken after the homeowner let the dog out around 7:45 p.m., the report shows. When the owner checked on the dog five minutes later, the dog was missing.

Surveillance video from a neighbor showed what appeared to be three to four kids and then two or three other people in the area and they reportedly left in a vehicle.

“I reviewed the video and was able to see that the dog was no longer in the video after the suspects walked back to the car,” the report read.

Police described the vehicle possibly being involved in the theft as a late 1990s or early 2000s vehicle, possibly a Honda or Acura style, the report read.

The family told this news outlet they are offering a reward in this case.
