The driver was not injured in the incident at 499 S. Broadway that occurred about 1:19 p.m. Tuesday, Greenville police told our news partner at the EarlyBirdpaper.com.
According to police, a white Buick Lucerne was headed north on South Broadway when the driver attempted to turn right into a parking space and hit a blue Toyota Sienna parked in a space to the left of the open spot.
The driver of the Buick backed up and tried a second time to pull into the open space and this time hit a tan Chevrolet Impala parked to the right of the open space.
The driver of the Buick admitted to police on scene that he inadvertently pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, which sent his car over the curb and into a window of the business.
Greenville Twp. Rescue checked him out and took him to a medical facility.
No one in the business, occupants or employees, were injured.
Police said other than the window, there did not appear to be any major structural damage to the building.
