It was not a crime for an early voter to take a photo of his or her ballot, the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office determined.

The matter was referred to the prosecutor’s office after the Miami County Board of Elections received an anonymous complaint that the relative of a candidate for office took a photograph of his or her own ballot during early voting at the BOE office.
