During these last weeks, Gibbons Road will be open in one direction from Alex Road to Elm Street. Elm Street will be closed at Gibbons heading south. All local traffic will have access to their homes and businesses.

The bridge has been expanded from 23 feet to 78 feet in order to meet flood requirements for Owl Creek, which flows under it.

Following the July 20 opening, there will several final touches to the bridge that will not affect traffic. The bridge is expected to be fully completed by Aug. 4.
