Farmer’s market opens Saturday

The Yellow Springs Farmers’ Market is set to open Saturday.

There will be locally grown greens, sustainably raised meats and eggs, freshly baked breads and sweets and potted plants and plant starts. The market will also feature three certified organic growers, offering such items as buffalo meat, local maple syrup and spelt flour.

The Yellow Springs Farmers’ Market has been in downtown Yellow Springs for more than 30 years.

The market is open from from 7 a.m. – noon every Saturday through October. It is located behind the Ye Ole Trail Tavern in the King’s Yard parking lot off of Walnut St.
