Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said Fields had a romantic relationship with an unidentified inmate.
“Prison investigators discovered that she was having a relationship with an inmate and began investigating her. Inside her locker they located five packages with suspected narcotics,” Fornshell said in a text message.
Ultimately, they determined that these drugs were delivered to her house by an unnamed individual, the drugs were prepackaged, and she conveyed them into the prison in her bra.”
Fields is charged with illegal conveyance of drugs onto prison grounds and aggravated possession of drugs. She is free while awaiting arraignment on Aug. 10 in Warren County Common Pleas Court.
Like Fields, Erica Douglas, 26, of Franklin, worked at the prison for Aramark, the contractor providing food service to the prison, one of two on Ohio 63, west of Lebanon, according to Fornshell.
