Festival of Fibers at Young’s Jersey Dairy

YELLOW SPRINGS – The 21st Annual Wool Gathering is being held at Young’s Jersey Dairy on Sept. 17-18, located on 6880 Springfield-Xenia Rd. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be over 100 vendors on sight to showcase their work. Sheep, llamas, alpacas, cashmere goats, and angora rabbits will be featured at the show.

There will be demonstrations of shearing, wool spinning, and weaving. CASEY LAUGHTER
