Neighbors alert residents of Bellbrook home being on fire

UPDATE @ 10:34 a.m: A total of four residents were able to escape their Bellbrook home Sunday morning after neighbors alerted them that it was on fire, according to officials.

The fire occurred around 9:25 a.m. in the 100 block of Viewpoint Drive, where the neighbors reported seeing flames and smoke coming from the rear structure of the house.

Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire after arriving on scene.

No injuries were reported and due to the fire still being under investigation officials are not sure what caused it or what damage estimates will be.

Crews are responding to a reported structure fire in the 100 block of Viewpoint Drive in Bellbrook.

The fire occurred Sunday morning around 9:25 a.m. with flames reportedly showing from the rear of the structure.

Mutual aid has also been requested to the scene, per initial reports.
