The fire started on a second floor apartment kitchen around 6:00 p.m. Heavy smoke and flames pushed out through the apartment, according to Chief of Silvercreek Township Steve Payton.
The flames were contained, but they did spread to three other apartments. One apartment is currently uninhabitable, according to Payton.
Damage is estimated to be 60 to 70 thousand dollars.
One male occupant was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The fire that started on the second story of an apartment building in Jamestown is now extinguished. According to the Jamestown Fire Department, one occupant was transferred to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation injuries .
