DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Zach Filzen scored 24 points to lead four Buffalo players in double figures in an 84-55 rout of Dayton on Wednesday night.
Javon McCrea had 17 points and 11 rebounds while Mitchell Watt added 16 points and 11 boards for the Bulls (4-1). McCrea and Filzen each hit 7 of 13 from the field. Buffalo made 50 percent of its shots (27 of 54) while Dayton struggled, making only 28.1 percent (16 of 57).
Dayton (5-2), which was held to its lowest point total of the season, saw its four-game winning streak end.
The Bulls led 38-22 at halftime and two free throws by Tony Watson pushed the lead to 61-41 with 10:18 to play. The lead never dipped below 20 points after that and the Bulls led by as many as 34 down the stretch.
Chris Johnson scored 12 points and Kevin Dillard had 11 for the Flyers.
