More than $7,200 raised after the Flying Ace Express Car Wash fundraiser for Dayton shooting victims, families

Flying Ace Express Car Wash raised over $7,200 today for Dayton shooting victims and their families.

Money was donated from $15 washes between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., nine hours for nine victims.

“It’s really important for us to give back to the community we’re always doing fundraiser work with the recent tragedies it was an opportunity for us to give back even more and I think that’s really important to us as a business model here,” said Clay Schielbrel, the Flying Ace shift supervisor. “Make sure that the community comes first in every way.”

Flying Ace Express Car Wash is hosting a fundraiser today to benefit the Dayton Foundation’s Oregon District Tragedy Fund.

Flying Ace Express will donate $5 from every $15 “Flying Ace” wash purchased at their six Dayton-area locations until 6 p.m. Cash donations will be accepted as well.

The six locations include:

  • Dayton: 7175 Far Hills Avenue
  • Beavercreek: 4494 Indiana Ripple Road and 3200 Seajay Drive
  • Huber Heights: 5570 Merily Way
  • Englewood: 9204 North Main Street
  • Miamisburg: 201 North Springboro Pike in Corners-At-The-Mall Shopping Center
