Francisco Estevez, brother of Martin Sheen, dies

Francisco V. Estevez, a retired U.S. Army soldier, former Colonel White and Kettering Fairmont high schools teacher, and OHSSA sports official for more than 20 years, died on June 9 at Kettering Medical Center. He was 77.

Estevez was the brother to actor Martin Sheen and uncle to Sheen’s sons Emilio, Charlie and Ramon.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 272 Bainbridge St. with interment at the Dayton National Cemetery.
