Franklin High School valedictorian is ‘Making a Difference’

From being held back in first grade to graduating with a 4.55 GPA as Franklin High School’s valedictorian, Alexis McGregor knows how far hard work, ambition and perseverance can take her.

And she already has her eyes on what’s next.

The class of 2019 graduate plans on attending the University of Cincinnati as a chemistry major and wants to eventually become an OBGYN.

McGregor also participated in the National Honor Society, student government and the Spanish National Honor Society.

Her talents aren’t limited to the classroom either. McGregor is a boxer and plans to continue her career with UC’s boxing club.

Despite graduating on a high note, things weren't always easy for McGregor. On Friday, June 26, News Center 7's James Brown will talk to McGregor about overcoming hardships and how she is a "Making a Difference." Tune in Friday for more details.
