Greene County hospitals honor nurses for dedication

GREENE COUNTY – Nurses Diane Adkins and Kayla Roebke were named Cameo of Caring Nurses at Greene Memorial Hospital and Soin Medical Center for 2016.

The award recognizes nurses who work at acute care hospitals. Established in 1999, the award is given to those who display wisdom, advocacy, and caring in professional nursing.

Adkins began working at Greene Memorial Hospital in 1986 following graduation from Sinclair Community College. She is a native of Yellow Springs and has experience in emergency, child care, EMT, and nursing.

Roebke found nursing through her mother, who suggested the field. Roebke obtained a BSN from North Dakota State University before relocating to Fairborn with her husband.

Greene Memorial Hospital and Soin Medical Center recognize nurses each year for their dedication to their patients and hospitals.
