In a series of tweets, the library said that it was using the printers in Spark Place, which is a “makerspace” on the second floor that provides tools and technology for community members to use. However, the community can’t access those tools since the library is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In total, the Greene County Public Library said that it has already donated over 100 mask extenders, with 170 more ready to go this week.
The Ohio Library Council added that 25 public library systems in the state were similarly using their 3D printers to make components for personal protective equipment and face shields.
