The city of Clayton has another road closure this week that might affect your travel plans.

A section of Hoke Road between Wenger and National Roads will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday for construction. The project, which began Monday, will replace two culverts in the area which have deteriorated and is expected to be completed Tuesday evening.

Director of Development Jack Kuntz said the cost of the project is $3,500.

The closure is in preparation for next year’s pavement project to repave the roads across the city of Clayton.

For more information, residents are encouraged to visit the city's website or contact Public Service Director Randy Sanders at (937) 836-3500.
