DETAILED FORECAST
Tonight: A few light rain showers are possible early tonight, but most will stay dry, according to News Center 7 Meteorologist Molly Coates. Temperatures will fall into the 60s.

Monday: Highs will soar to 90 degrees, which is close to the record. It will be muggy, so the heat index will reach the low to mid-90s and stay dry.

Tuesday: Highs will return to the lower 90s, which is again close to the record. It will be another muggy day with heat index values in the lower to middle 90s. It is not likely to rain, however with mostly sunny skies.

Wednesday: It will be mostly sunny, hot and humid for Wednesday. This will be the third consecutive day in the 90s, making this a heat wave. It will be a bit windy at times, but heat index values will be in the lower to middle 90s again.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with the chance of showers. Cooler with highs approaching 80 degrees.
Friday: The day will be cool with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will feel more seasonal with highs approaching 70 degrees.
