Afternoon storms in the Dayton area could result in heavy rainfall, gusty winds and some small hail.
Residents may see some streets flood and wind gusts could reach 45 mph.

A Heat Advisory goes into effect at noon Thursday, and lasts until 8 p.m. for the entire Miami Valley.
There will be a slight chance of showers and storms starting mid-morning, and rising to a chance of rain and thunderstorms in the early afternoon. Once again it will be hot at near 96 degrees. At night, chances of rain and storms will fall some, but will stick around through the night under partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will be around 73 degrees.
