Firefighters were dispatched to the 2400 block and found heavy fire coming from the rear of the house around 3:15 a.m.
Neighboring residents evacuated their homes while crews handled the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, although officials saw nothing unusual except that the house was vacant.
