Humane Society Pet of the Week

Mama

Mama

Name: Mama

Age: 3 years

Color: Brown/white

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Gender: Female

Spayed: Yes

Why she is special: Mama is a very nice lady looking for her forever home! A kind person found her and her kittens as strays and brought them to us. When they first arrived the kittens were too little for adoption and needed to stay with Mama so they went to a foster home. Mama has been an excellent mommy cat and now that all her kittens are adopted she is ready to find a home of her own. Mama is super sweet but may be getting overlooked because she is quiet and doesn’t beg for attention. She can be shy at first and takes a little time to warm up to new people and to feel comfortable in new environments. But once you gain Mama’s trust you have a snuggle buddy for life. Don’t let that adorable frowny face fool you — she’s a total sweetheart! Mama is the kind of cat who forms close bonds with people and really wants nothing more than to be your best friend. You could be the one to give her the loving forever family she deserves!

Cost: $45

Where to adopt: MeowZa Cat Boutique inside the Dayton Mall across from Dick’s Sporting Goods, one of our more than 20 offsite adoption locations
