Morris said the vote occurred after an executive session Monday morning during a special meeting.
“All of the minutes will be out and signed and published after this (Tuesday night’s) meeting – reflecting that special meeting,” he said. “The officer’s name is in that resolution.”

Morris said, “I think the comments regarding the specific nature of the dismissal should be made by the police chief.”
Messages left with Stiegelmeyer on Friday were not immediately returned.
This news organization has requested a copy of the resolution approved by trustees, as well as the name and personnel file of the officer who was the subject of the trustees’ vote.
