Kettering City Schools announced the hiring of two district officials today, finding a HR director for the district, and new principal for Oakview Elementary School.

Ken Miller, was selected as the district’s new Human Resource Director. Miller currently serves as the superintendent of Bradford Exempted Village School District in Darke and Miami counties and previously served as an elementary and middle school principal, a middle school teacher and athletic director.

Aaron Smith was hired as the new Oakview principal, starting the 2017-2018 school year. Smith began his career in education in Kettering, teaching second, third and fifth grades at John F. Kennedy Elementary from 1998 to 2006.

He’ll be replacing Sarah Adams who will become principal at Van Buren Middle School.
