Most KeyBank branches close at noon today; employees will volunteer in the community

KeyBank employees will spend part of the day Wednesday volunteering at eight community organizations for the 29th annual Neighbors Make the Difference Day.

All bank branches will close at noon, except for Dayton Main at 10 W. Second St., and downtown Springfield at 1 S. Fountain Ave.

About 80 employees will be doing various community projects from 1 to 5 p.m. at the following locations:

  • For the Love of Children
  • Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley
  • Hannah's Treasure Chest
  • Oak Tree Corner
  • Ohio's Hospice of Dayton
  • The Foodbank
  • The Springfield Soup Kitchen
  • Vandalia Butler Food Pantry

Neighbors Make the Difference Day demonstrates KeyBank’s commitment to helping its neighbors and communities by volunteering their time, the bank stated. More than 6,000 employees in 15 states will volunteer this year and are expected to complete a total of 25,000 volunteer hours.
