Kids playing in the woods found a wallet lost more than a decade ago by Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones.

The brown leather tri-fold wallet contained his sheriff’s badge, driver’s license, library card, health insurance card and multiple credit cards.

Jones posted photos of the wallet and its contents on social media, as well as a public thank you to Chad Oberholtzer and his children Brooke and Drew for finding his lost wallet.

The sheriff said he lost the wallet sometime between 12 and 15 years ago.
