Damon Bowling, 21, of Hamilton, was killed in a two vehicle crash about 4:45 p.m. in the 1700 block of Old Oxford Road, according to Butler County Sheriff's Deputy Nathan Ellcessor.
Bowling was the passenger in car driven by Taylor Vest, 21, of Richmond, Ind., that collided with a SUV driven by Dennis Robinson, 60, of Oxford. Vest, Robinson and his passenger, Joni, 61, were all transported by medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital.
The crash remains under investigation, but a preliminary investigation indicates Vest went left of center.
A car when off Old Oxford Road about 1:20 a.m. Thursday and slammed into a house in the 1800 block.
The driver, Corey Cox, 27, of Hamilton, was transported by medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital.
Ellcessor said Cox's vehicle went airborne and hit the house on the second floor, about 12 feet above the ground.
That cash also remains under investigation.
Ohio 177 is closed due to a construction project, and a detour is sending traffic onto Old Oxford Road. Ellecessor said there is more traffic on the roadway, but likely not a contributing factor in Thursday's crashes.
