Job seekers are invited to attend the event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12 or apply online at jobs.kroger.com in advance, according to Corporate Affairs Manager Erin Rolfes of Kroger.
Rolfes said the company offers competitive starting rates with opportunities for advancement.
Available positions include:
- Store clerks with a minimum start rate of $10 an hour.
- Deli/bakery clerks and pharmacy technicians with a minimum start rates of $11 an hour.
- Third shift overnight staff have a start rate at of $12 an hour.
Deli/Bakery clerks, pharmacy technicians, and third shift overnight staff must be at least 18-years-old.
Kroger announced in April new benefits for employees including the Feed Your Future education program, accelerated investment in wages, an improved retirement benefit, and enriched associate discounts and uplift programs for eligible employees, Rolfes said.
