Plane Talks, which occur a few times a year at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, allow visitors to interact with various subject matter experts.

Presidents Day Plane Talks, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 17 in the Presidential Gallery in Bldg. 4 will include:

• Sacred Cow – Joseph Ventolo, former museum curator

• SAM 26000 – Retired Lt. Col. Jack Hampshire, former advance agent

• SAM 26000 – Retired Maj. Lewis Newhard, former pilot

• SAM 26000 – Retired Maj. Robert Weatherly, former pilot flight examiner

• SAM 26000 – Retired Maj. Don Brown, former pilot and instructor

• SAM 26000 – Retired Chief Master Sgt. Danny Bowen, former crew chief

• SAM 26000 – Retired Senior Master Sgt. Gerald Mongelli, former structural repair technician

• SAM 26000 – Retired Tech. Sgt. Kimberly Weatherly, former Communication System flight examiner

• SAM 26000 – Retired Tech. Sgt. Jerry Burton, former Fixed Wing Flight engineer

• SAM 26000 – Retired Maj. David Hill, former flight attendant

The experts at these talks may include veterans, active-duty military members, former pilots, crew members, engineers, navigators and others. These experts will be stationed in the galleries near the aircraft or exhibit that relates to their expertise.

These Plane Talks programs often occur on the anniversary of a significant Air Force or military event.
