Legendary Beatle to play local show

A Beatle will play the Fraze this summer.

Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr will return to the city of Kettering-owned venue located at 695 Lincoln Park Boulevard for a show 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2.

Starr and Paul McCartney are the surviving members of the Beatles.

The legendary band arrived in the United States for the first time on Feb. 7, 1964.

Starr will be joined by his All-Starr Band featuring Steve Lukather, Richard Page, Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren and Gregg Bissonette.

They will play songs like “The No No Song, “With A Little Help From My Friends,” “Don’t Pass Me By,” “Octopus’ Garden,” “It Don’t Come Easy” and “Back Off Boogaloo.”

Tickets range from $45 to $85 and go on sale 9 a.m. Saturday, March 8.
