2 local restaurants make ‘Top Brunch Spots in Ohio’ list

The restaurant-list web site onlyinyourstate.com has identified the 12 Restaurants in Ohio that Prove Brunch is the Best Meal of the Day, and the Dayton area is well-represented.

Both the Golden Nugget in Kettering and the Blueberry Cafe in Bellbrook made the statewide list, which is the second such "OnlyInYourState" list focusing on breakfast and brunch spots in the Buckeye state. The first list included the Legacy Pancake House in Dayton.

Here’s what the web site said about the Blueberry Cafe:

“After you find yourself stuffed from the most satisfying brunch of your life, ‘The Muffin Man’ comes around to entice you with warm, homemade muffins you simply can’t resist — no matter how stuffed you are.”

And about the Golden Nugget:

“You can definitely expect a wait on a weekend morning at the Golden Nugget, but their large signature omelets and hearty pancakes make the wait worth it.”
