Belton Stroup Funeral Home announced on Thursday that there will be a celebration of life held for Eckhart at 442 E. Dayton Yellow Springs Road from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

This weekend in Columbus, services will be Saturday, Feb. 22 at King Avenue United Methodist Church, located at 299 King Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. There will be a visitation at 10:30 a.m. and a celebration of life following at 12:30 p.m.
City officials said Eckhart was instrumental in many of the recent Parks and Recreation initiatives and improvements, like getting new lights installed at Fairfield Park and installing the fitness court.
“Alicia was one of the most dedicated and hardworking people I have ever had the privilege of working with,” said Fairborn spokeswoman Meghan Howard.
