Man arrested after fleeing from Huber Heights police, found in creek bed

UPDATE @ 11:25 p.m.:

A 28-year-old male was arrested Monday night around 7:40 p.m. after fleeing from police, according to Huber Heights Sergeant Brian Carr.

An officer on patrol observed an argument between a male and a female in the 5700 block of Fisher Road when he learned the male, Vance Taylor, had an active warrant out for his arrest.

When the officer attempted to arrest him, Taylor fled on foot around the apartment complex and into the woods, Carr said. He was then then found hiding in a creek bed.

Taylor was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on preliminary charges of an outstanding warrant, resisting arrest and burglary.
