James Harper, 32, was arrested following the pursuit that spanned nearly 45 minutes mainly on I-75 through those three counties, state troopers said.

The pursuit started around 3:30 a.m. on southbound Interstate 75 near the state Route 67 exit to Wapakoneta in Auglaize County, Sgt. J.J. Carter of the Piqua Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol told this news outlet.
The SUV took off from an attempted traffic stop and continued south through Auglaize County, Carter said.
Speeds in the pursuit reached around 115 mph and continued south into Shelby and Miami counties.
Spike strips, a tire deflation device, were used during the pursuit and punctured all four tires of the SUV during the chase.
The pursuit ended around 4:15 a.m. on I-75 near the state Route 55 exit to Troy, Carter said.
Harper was taken into custody after the pursuit ended and was booked in the Miami County Jail on preliminary charges of failure to comply, OVI, improper handling of a firearm, and having weapons under disability, according to online jail records.
No injuries were reported during the chase.
