Marathon Foundation donates $100K to Dayton-area tornado relief

The Marathon Petroleum Foundation, Inc. has contributed $100,000 to support relief efforts for those impacted by the Memorial Day tornadoes in the Dayton-area.

The donation will be split between The Foodbank and the Dayton-Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

In addition to Marathon’s cash donation, Speedway also contributed 1,500 cases of bottled water and non-perishable food and supplies to The Foodbank.

“These storms impacted our friends, neighbors, employees and customers in our own backyard,” said Speedway President Tony Kenney. “We know the recovery process will take time, and this donation will help members of our communities recover.”
