McGohan Brabender has expanded out of state with a new office in Indianapolis.

CEO Scott McGohan said the brokerage looked at different markets and decided on Indianapolis partly because health care prices are expensive and it is a place where the company can make a difference.

“Hopefully what we don’t do is sell insurance. Hopefully what we do is sell knowledge and confidence from neck up, and hopefully we can make a difference in the Indianapolis market,” McGohan said.

McGohan said they are starting out with five current employees, who are moved to Indianapolis to launch the new office. The office opened last week.

McGohan Brabender, headquartered in Moraine, has 185 employees in four offices and its sister company RetireMedIQ has about 70 employees.

The company started a Columbus office 10 years ago and a Cincinnati office 15 years ago.
