>> 2 OVI checkpoints planned in Jefferson Twp. Wednesday night
Mark J. Terrell, 37, of South Charleston, was driving a 2008 BMW M3 east on I-70 when he struck the side of Eskeli’s 2012 Ford Focus around 2:30 a.m. The impact caused the Ford off the right side of the roadway. It then struck an exit sign, light pole and rolled over before coming to rest on its left side, the highway patrol said.
The BMW continued east for a short distance before it became disabled. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash, according to troopers.
