Miami County jail inmate accused in fellow inmate’s overdose

A Kenton, Ohio woman entered a plea of not guilty to sneaking drugs into the Miami County Jail in a body cavity, and was blamed for causing another female inmate to overdose on drugs in the jail.

Megan Hair, age 24, was arraigned Monday morning in Miami County Municipal Court on a charge of conveying drugs into the jail on Friday.

Her cash bond was set at $25,000. She was also charged with possession of suspected heroin and fentanyl. Also was charged with possession of a syringe. The inmate who OD'd survived.
