The business school will be remain open during filming, according to Miami spokeswoman Claire Wagner. Portions of the building will be closed to the public.
“Miami University is featured in the film — it doesn’t stand in for another school,” Schaefer said. “The production liked the brick buildings and their architecture, which is reminiscent of a classic New England, Ivy league school.”
Clooney caused a buzz earlier this month and in November when he personally scouted the business school. He has been spotted with his co-stars – Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood – at spots in Cincinnati as filming began there this month. The movie will also be shot in Michigan, according to the Cincinnati Film Commission.
The movie — which is set to be released in January 2012 — is about a young spokesman for a candidate in a presidential primary who learns about dirty politics, according to Variety.com.
