A group of 14 Mikesell’s workers walked off the job today and plan to continue to strike Tuesday morning.

Alan Weeks, a representative with the Teamsters Local Union 957, said one warehouse employee and several route sales drivers and over the road truck drivers are on strike.

The workers will start picketing on Leo Street at 8 a.m., Weeks said.

Weeks said many workers haven’t gotten a raise since 2012 and the company has only offered 15 cent per hour raises in recent negotiations.

A Mikesell’s representative could not be reached for comment.
