$1 million bond for teen accused of killing Dunbar HS student

Bond was set at $1 million for a Mason teen accused of shooting and killing a Dunbar High School student last month.

Jackeem Collins, 18, faces two counts of murder, eight counts of felonious assault and one count of discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises.

Collins is accused of shooting a gun into a group of juveniles Feb. 16, killing Qua’lek Shelton near the intersection of Catalpa Drive and Sunnyview Avenue.

He was in a vehicle while he fired shots into the group of people that killed one and injured another, according to court records.
