Miracle Makers celebrating 20th anniversary with extravagant event

Miracle Makers is set to hold a DreamLab Summer Extravaganza Thursday to celebrate their 20th anniversary, and the end of their camp that aids disadvantaged children living in inner East Dayton, according to an East End Community Services press release.

The extravaganza is supposed to showcase Miracle Maker’s mission, and feature student work based on the theme of creating and achieving dreams, read the release. The event is scheduled to be held at Ruskin Elementary School, 407 Ambrose Court, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Since 1998, Miracle Makers has aimed to meet the community need for a safe, nurturing and academically stimulating out of school time environment for children in the Twin Towers/Ruskin school neighborhood, according to the release.
