Montgomery County Treasurer Russ Joseph announced Thursday afternoon that his office will be closed to the public beginning Friday.

The office will remain closed until further notice due to the coronavirus, Joseph stated in a release.

“Our work continues in the treasurer’s office during the COVID-19 pandemic, but we must change how we interact with the public because of this unprecedented public health challenge. We ask people to please stay home and interact with our office by email, phone or by mail. Payments should be made online at www.mctreasurer.org, or mailed in,” Joseph said.

  • Payments can continue to be made in the following ways:
  • Pay online at www.mctreasurer.org. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, or e-check.
  • Mail payments by check or money order to: Russ Joseph, Montgomery County Treasurer 451 W. Third St.Dayton, OH 45422-1475

Payments can be placed in the blue drop box (with the Montgomery County logo on it) on the Third Street sidewalk, in front of the County Administration Building (451 W. Third St.)

Customers with Property Tax questions can email Taxpayer-Services@mcohio.org or call (937) 225-4010, option 1.

Customers with questions about delinquent property taxes, bankruptcies or mobile homes are encouraged to email Delinquency@mcohio.org or call 937-225-4010, option 2.
