"An issue" with a pole at Shiloh Springs and North Union roads initially knocked out power for approximately 2,785 customers Tuesday evening, DP&L spokesman Rob Beeler said.

Customers began reporting outages just before 7:30 p.m.

DP&L received a report that the pole, which is on a corner, was hit and there was a fire.

We checked with Montgomery County Regional Dispatch and a sergeant there could not find any report concerning either a vehicle accident or downed wires at that location.

Nevertheless, DP&L crews have been able to restore service to all customers as of Wednesday morning, according to the online outage map.
