The city of Miamisburg has reopened its golf courses.

The city made that decision after the Ohio Department of Health reversed its previous position on golf course operations as part of the state’s current “stay-at-home” restrictions.

BUSINESS: Owner of Dayton Mall, Mall at Fairfield Commons extends closures due to COVID-19

As a result, Pipestone and Mound courses reopened on Tuesday morning. However, neither course will open its clubhouse or offer riding carts, according to the city. In addition, the city is instituting the following:

•Mound will be open only to those who have purchased 2020 season passes, or memberships.

•Pipestone patrons must book their tee times and pay fees online at pipestonegolf.com or by telephone at 866-GOLF.

Cups will be raised to prohibit players from holing out, and the course’s driving range and putting green will remain closed, according to the city.

Carry-out beverages will be available for purchase from the clubhouse.

All patrons are expected to maintain current social distancing guidelines during their rounds.
