Fairborn’s city council will hold a special meeting Monday night to discuss a proposed housing development in the city.

The Oberer Development Company is proposing a new development called the Rockdell Housing Development, according to a notice from the city.

The development is proposed for construction at the dead-end of Rockdell Drive, off Old Yellow Springs Road, according to Fairborn Clerk of Council Julie Taylor.

Oberer is a Miamisburg-based company founded in 1949.

The meeting will be held at 5:15 p.m. at 44 W. Hebble Ave., the city’s government center. The meeting precedes a regular session of council.
